The Sanford Warriors won the Delaware Boy's High School Basketball Championship defeating Hodgson Vo-Tech 63-44. The Warriors completed their season with a 25-2 record.
Earl Miller scored 9 points for Sanford Wil Sheridan throws down in the first half.
Hodgson's Taurean Temple crashes into the camerawoman in the second half after getting a breakaway layup attempt swatted away by Sheridan. Wil Sheridan led both teams with 21 points and 14 rebounds.
Earl Lacy gets a piece of net.

Sanford defeated Salesianum 61-50 in the semifinal round. Wil Sheridan (pictured) scored 12 points. Earl Miller led with 19. Phil Eckman drives in a for a successful layup against Sallies Dan Edgar. Eckman scored 13 during the evening.
Earl Lacy dropped in 7 points for the Warriors Kyle Stem was the high scorer for the Sals with 14.
Hodgson's Taurean Temple dunks to finish off the game for the Silver Eagles as they beat St. Elizabeth's 57-54. Temple scored 20 to lead all scorers. Malcom Tiller took a shot to the face late in the game and exited with 10 in the game.
Joe Scholz scored 14 including two 3-pointers while grabbing 7 rebounds. Shane Sowden led the Vikings with 16 points in the losing cause. Hodgson advances to the Championship Game for the first time in their history.

 

Hodgson's Ladaye Johnson helped lead the Hodgson Silver Eagles into the semifinal round of the boy's basketball state tournament. Malcom Tiller lit the packed Salesianum gym up with a first half dunk in the 73-71 win.
Taurean Temple was on fire early. Hodgson also beat Newark in the Blue Hen Conference Championship. Newark's Lamont Davis did all he could for his squad. 

 

The Howard Wildcat Cheerleaders spirited their team to a 44-31 victory over St. Andrews Ollie Taylor provided the meat of the Wildcat offense.
Mike Schmidt helped pace the Wildcats in the second quarter which helped Howard pull away. Elijah Weeks and the Cardinals won the first and third quarters.
Michael Graham and Michael Primiani sparked a rally in the third quarter that left St. Andrews one point shy of the lead. The Howard defense shutdown a Saint rally in the fourth quarter. Saint's Andrew Grimes is guarded by Layton Johnson here.
