Ashley Dryden
Ashley is an 8th grader at Delmar Jr./Sr. High School, born April 09,
1986. She
is the only 8th grader to make the varsity softball squad, and is the starting pitcher.
She came straight from Junior High where she played middle school as a 7th grader.
In addition she plays for the Milford Magic 16U travel team. Last season,
with Magic 14U she won 5 games at the ASA Regionals as Magic took the
tournament with 7 wins and no losses.
She also pitched for them at the NSA Nationals in Charlotte, NC
At the same time, she led the Delmar Little League, Jr. Softball division,
to the Maryland State Championship(Delmar is divided by the mason-dixon line
and little league is chartered in Md.)
She went to the Eastern Regionals with their championship team.
She has been pitching 14U since 10 years old, before moving up this fall.
She has always been on the honor roll.
