Basketball


Opening day of HS basketball and for the boys, our first report of a game for 2021 will be of Mt. Pleasant beating McKean 53-36. The high scorer for the Green Knights was Jr Ronnie Potts who had 18 points. Sergio Solis added 15. Darrell Anderson and King Grasty led the Highlanders with 8 points each.





Concord beats Newark 58-45. Ryan Andrews led the Raiders with 14 points. Newark's Kamau Lately led all scorers with 21 points.





Tower Hill beats Malvern Prep 50-48 in overtime. The teams went on lockdown in the 4th quarter with Tower Hill edging our their PA opponents 2-1 to tie the game. Dean Shepherd led the Hillers with 20 points.




Girl's Basketball



Delmarva Christian opens up their girl's basketball season with a convincing 55-17 over Sts. Peter & Paul. Ainsley Bell had 25 points for the Royals.




Laurel takes down Sussex Academy 57-30. Carlie Venables had a big opening-day game scoring 30 points for the Bulldogs.






Wrestling



First dual meets of the year in high school wrestling. Polytech beats Hodgson 60-24.
