Boy's Basketball

The Royals of Delmarva Christian won their opening game of the season beating Holly Grove Christian from Maryland 73-23. Dontarius Jones, seen above, was the leading scorer with 14 points. Four Royals were in double figures in scoring in the game.

Girl's Basketball

The Lady Royals also beat Holly Grove. The score in this contest was 64-24. Ainsley Bell scored 21 and Sierra Troyer and Kaela Mitchell each had 17. Mitchell had 15 steals in the game.

Newark Charter takes out Odyssey Charter 62-9. Riley Hevelow lead the Patriots with 19 points.

Archmere beats Appoquinimink 46-39. The leading scorer was Lauren Kim for the Auks.

Tower Hill over St. Andrews 50-18. Tessa Mullins had 16 points for the Hillers.

The Highlanders of McKean beat Freire Charter 35-20. Khaya Hart was the leading scorer with 16 points as they win their opening-day game.

Wrestling

Indian River beats Dover 47-35.

Pins for the Indians came from James Esque at 138 pounds; Bryce Rickabaugh at 160; Caleb McCabe at 182; and TJ Burke at 285.

Dover had pins from freshman Josiah Cody at 106; freshman Joseph Jackson at 113; Dashaun Cole at 126; Freshman John Parker at 145; Antwan Eloi at 195; and Connor Ridgway at 220.
