Cape Henlopen wins their first-ever D1 Dual Meet Championships. They went through Smyrna in the semifinals and then beat Caesar Rodney 43-26 in the championship match. Caesar Rodney had a small upset of Salesianum in the semis to reach the Vikings in the final.

In Division 2, the Buccaneers of Caravel Academy won their 3rd straight championship defeating DMA 52-15 after beating Lake Forest in the semifinals 75-6.

St. Mark's Senior Max DiOssi shattered the school's shot put school record on Saturday, throwing a state leading 54-10. He eclipsed the old record held by Markquise Normand at 52-7.5 set in 2014






Spartan Twins, Arianna and Alexis Donovan ‘25 broke the 200m school record together at the Armory in NYC. Arianna ran 26.28 and Alexis ran 26.79




Donnie Morton from Wilmington Friends School earned his 100th career victory this past weekend at the DISC Championships. In addition to recording his 100th win, Donnie also took home gold in the 138 pound weight-class.





Congratulations go out to Laurel's Javier White who scored his 1000th career point for the Bulldog's basketball team.







Smyrna High runner Demetri Carter won three individual events at the Henlopen Conference indoor track & field championships this week. The senior finished first in the 55 meters (6.48), the 200 meters (22.94) and the 400 meters (50.22)




Nevin Yutzy, a junior at Greenwood Mennonite School, scored 96 points in games this week. This included a 51 point game on Friday night, the second 50+ point game of his high school career. Nevin has scored 975 points in his career, to date. He is a leader on the court and in the classroom.




Cape Henlopen High wrestler Mikey Frederick won three matches by tech fall as the Vikings captured the DIAA Division I dual-meet state championship. The wrestled two matches at 145 before moving up to 152 in the finals, also recorded the 100 victory of his career.





Sussex Academy swimmer Gracie Maughan was named the Outstanding Swimmer in the girls’ meet as the Seahawks won the team title at the Henlopen Conference championships on Saturday. The sophomore set conference records in both the 200-yard Individual Medley (2:11.38) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:05.18). Maughan also swam a leg on Sussex Academy’s winning 200-yard Medley and 200-yard Freesytle relay teams.
