Jack McKelvey from Wilmington Friends broke the school record in the Boys Indoor 1000 Meter run. His new record time of 3:09.93 was set at the Refuel with Chocolate Milk Officials HOF Invitational at the Armory in the Bronx.








Sawyer Rowland from Wilmington Friends set a new Quakers Girls Indoor Track team record in the 300 meters with a time of 45.75.











LT Alleyne from Wilmington Friends broke the Girls school record in the Indoor Long Jump with a leap of 16-0. The record jump was at the Ursinus Invitational.










Chuma Chukwuocha from Wilmington Friends broke two records for the Quakers Boys Indoor Track team. He ran a new record time of 1:15.37 in the 500 meters. He recorded a Triple Jump leap of 43-8 inches to set the other new standard.










Helen Socorso from Archmere set two new Auks records for the Girls Indoor Track Team. She ran a 1:46.25 in the 600 meters and a 3:10.17 in the 1000 meters.











Congratulations to the Wilmington University Softball team which has been named the 2024 Delaware Team of the Year in a vote by the Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association. The Wildcats will be honored during the DSBA’s annual awards luncheon on Presidents Day, Feb. 17, at Riverfront Events on the Wilmington Riverfront.









Tatnall's Ben Pizarro broke the State Record in the Indoor Two Mile run at the 2025 VA Showcase with a time of 9:13.77










Grady Redding from Appqouinimink broke the school record for the Boys Swimming team in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:02.42.











Jaiayre Wright from Dickinson reached the 500 point milestone for his career with the Rams Basketball team.










Krista Brosius from Caesar Rodney has signed a commitment letter to attend Salisbury University in Maryland. She will join the Golf team.










Chuck Perrin from Delaware Military won the 100th match of his career with the Seahawks Wrestling program. The milestone victory came during the Canal Classic this weekend.











Trivia Answer: The home Softball field at Wilmington University is named Asbury Field after legendary Wildcat player and Coach, Jenny Asbury.
