Emma Kirby from the Tatnall School in Wilmington has committed to play basketball for Millersville U in PA





Tyler Cleaves and Matthew Pulgini earned a share of the CACC Golfer of the Week honors after tying for 5th overall at the Penmen Fall Invite earlier this week for the Wilmington Wildcat Golf team.





Braeden Peterson from the Conrad School of Sciences has committed to join the track team at Wilmington University.





Matthew Lewis, from MOT Charter, has committed to play baseball at Washington College in Maryland.





Congratulations to Alyssa Napier, who bested her School Record set last week, with a 18:42 at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University.



Field Hockey


The Tatnall Hornets remain undefeated improving to 7-0 with a win over Newark Charter 2-0. Rachael Whitehead scored both goals to hand the Patriots their first loss of the season.







Peyton Shields scored three goals as Caesar Rodney blanked William Penn 7-0. The Riders are 4-2.








Football


Chris Caracter scored three touchdowns for St. Elizabeth's as the Vikings rolled over Glasgow 50-12.

Robby Tattersall rushed for 176 yards on 26 carries and two touchdowns and went 5 for 14 for 91 passing yards throwing for one. The Quakers of Wilmington Friends improve to 4-0 with a convincing 34-9 win over Archmere. The Auks are now 2-2.






Malik Pinkett and Jacque Wilson each rushed for over 100 yards with Pinkett scoring three touchdowns as Red Lion beat Milford 39-0. The Lions are 2-2 while the Bucs slip to 2-3.






Kylse Wilson and Tate Walls each scored three rushing touchdowns as Laurel beat Polytech 50-6. The Bulldogs are 4-0 and the Panthers now 1-3.





Yamir Knight scored all three touchdowns for Smyrna. The Eagles win a key divisional contest against the Golden Knights of Sussex Central 22-0.












Boy's Soccer


All-American Jake Ross scored all three goals including the game-winning goal in overtime as Salesianum beats the Phelps School from PA 3-2.












Volleyball


Caravel beat Indian River 3-1. Laila Glover led all scorers with 25 kills. Savannah Crouse had 23 assists.




Eliza Schneider had 25 kills in a nail-biting win for Red Lion over Wilmington Charter. The Lions needed 5 sets and extended play in set 5 to win the match. Kyra Anthos had 38 assists for the Lions. Haden Helojoki led the Force with 21 kills and Catherine Cole had 29 assists.
