Cape Henlopen is honoring Ryan Baker for his 2nd place finish at the Joe O'Neill invitational cross country meet this past weekend. He clocked in with a Delaware best time for the year at 15:37
Lake Forest's Jamir Marable had a big day against Red Lion in the Spartans 33-13 victory. He had three catches for 98 yards and a touchdown. He also had an interception on defense.
Sanya Dudeja has been named Padua's Runner of the Month for September. She had shaved over 7 minutes off of her personal-best times from last year.
Smyrna honors Karalyn Osborn from the volleyball team this week. For the week, the senior collected eight kills, eight aces, eight digs and 56 assists in two Smyrna victories. 30 of those assists came in the victory over St. Marks which snapped the reigning state champions 42-match winning streak.
St. Elizabeth's named Myles Orr as the Maroon & Gold Athlete of the Week. Myles is on the Cross Country team and has recorded the fastest times of the year for the Vikings.
DE - Marie Brainard scored her 50th career goal for the Wilmington Charter field hockey team. She set a new school record with the goal which came in a pair she scored in a 2-1 against St. Marks.
Freshman Molly Dolan scored three goals and had one assist as did Madeline Rowland. The Quakers of Wilmington Friends shutout William Penn 8-0.
