Isaiah Turman from Wilmington Friends broke the Quakers school record in the Triple Jump at the Ocean Breeze Games in NY. The new record is 41 feet one half inch. That broke his own record set in December.
Ellie Criscimagna ran a 3:35.19 in the 1000-meter run at Ocean Breeze to set a new school record for the Quakers in that event.
Jack McKelvey also broke the 1000-meter run school record for Friends. His new record is 3:09.79
Declan Grubb set a new Quaker record in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:39.52
At the Alvernia University Golden Wolves High School Challenge, the Conrad Girl's 4x200 Relay team set a new school record of 2:03.39. The record setting team consisted of Alyssa Napier, Julia Abbott, Kayla Williams, and Safiya Stewart.
Danny Sinclair from William Penn recorded his 100th career win for the Colonials wrestling team.
Mckenna Boyle from Sussex Central signed an NLI to attend Shippensburg University in PA. She will join the Field Hockey team and extend her education there. She is a three-sport star also excelling in Basketball and Softball.
Tahirou Balde from Caesar Rodney has committed to attend Delaware State University where he will join the football team.
Middletown's Chase Timmons has committed to attend Eastern University in St. Davids where he will join the baseball team. He is a Catcher and Infielder who is also part of the Delmarva Aces baseball program.
St. Elizabeth's has named Aidan Tobiason as the Maroon & Gold Athlete of the Week. A junior on the basketball team, his week included a 21-point performance against Salesianum.
Polytech's Track and Field Athletes of the were Emeel James-Ragland and Sierra LeJeune
