Carter Rasin from Red Lion Christian Academy has committed to attend Delaware State University where he will join the football team.






Ava Ciriaco from Newark Charter School and Sporting Delaware Soccer Club has committed to attend Shippensburg University where she will become a Raider, class of 2027.






𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙞𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙡𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮 from the Indoor Track team was named the St. Elizabeth HS Gold and Maroon Athlete of the Week. She set personal records in the three events in which she competes to help earn her honor.






Wilmington University bowlers Sydney Jones and Carolece Henry have been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Bowler and Rookie of the Week.

Jones led the Wildcats with a five-game total of 904, finishing 83rd out of 208 bowlers. She had a day's best 226 against Morgan State but also bowled a 200 against No. 2 North Carolina A&T. She finished with a 180.80 average. had the team's best game of the day, finishing 89th overall with a five-match total of 888. She had a 228 against No. 2 North Carolina A&T for her lone 200-game of the day. She bowled a 189 against No. 13 Delaware State, finishing with a 177.60 average.







James Simmons from Mt. Pleasant has announced he will sign an NLI to attend West Chester U and play for the Rams football team. His father, James Simmons, had been a coach at Mt. Pleasant (and Principal.)





Congratulations to Wilmington Wildcat head men's basketball Dan Burke for earning his 100th career coaching victory. He is the program's all-time leader in wins and the first to reach the milestone.





Red Lion's Ray Romano has committed to attend Albright University in PA where he will join the football program.










Ryan Baker broke a 45-year old Cape Henlopen record in the indoor 1600-meter run. Heran the eight-lap mile race in 4:25.53, finishing 18th at the U.S. Army Officials Hall of Fame Invitational at the Armory in New York.





Indian River Senior, Zoe Tuttle, has committed to Kutztown University. She will join the Acrobatic and Tumbling team for the fall of 2023.






Conrad's Lenniek Preston will head to Kutztown University in PA where he will join the football program.






Dover's Nasir Snipes-Guzman has committed to attend Eastern University in PA where he will join the football team.
