Hannah Sanders from Brookville HS in Snellville, GA has signed a NLI to attend Delaware State University where she will join the Volleyball team.
Red Lion's Seth McGroerty has committed to attend Grove City College in PA where he will play football.
Jules Balon's 19-2" long jump mark captured the state championship in the indoor finals. The mark was a new state record for the Padua Panda.
Caravel Freshman, Kennedy Smith, is the State Champion in the 400-meter dash. Her winning time was 59.20
St. Marks' Danni McGonigle is the State Champion in the Triple Jump. She had a Top-50 USA leap of 38-9. This ties the state record. She also set the school record in the Long Jump (17-11.25) and tied the school record in the High Jump (5-0.)
Smyrna's Brooke Duke is the State Champion in the High Jump. She cleared 5-2.
Smyrna's Makhi Scott is the State Champion in the Long Jump. He had a jump of 22-5 to win by .25 of an inch.
Caesar Rodney's Ian Cain, on the right, nipped DMA's Ethan Walther at the finish line in a photo finish to become the State Champion in the 800 meter run. The difference was .08 seconds.
The Caesar Rodney Riders team of Maddox Downs, Ian Cain, Evan Easton and Griffin Spana are the State Champions in the 4x800 relay.
Ursuline's Gabrielle Paolella is the State Champion in the Shot Put. Her throw of 41-7 was a personal best and a top 50 mark in the US this year.
The St. Marks' 4x200 team of Chloe Bedwell, Reagan Garibaldi, Alexis Donovan and Arianna Donovan are the State Champions. Their time was 1:47.54
St. Andrews Lily Murphy is the State Champion in the 3200 meters. She won with a time of 11:14.96 which is a school record.
St. Andrews' Leah Horgan set a new school record in the 1600 meter run. The new Saint's record is 11:29.77
The St. Andrews 4x800 relay team of Harry Murphy Chris Onsomu William Hagberg Kuba Krajnik set a new school record time of 9:00.74
The Wilmington Friends 4x200 relay team of Brina Abere, Sawyer Rowland, Madeline Rowland, and Cereniti Johnson, set a new school record with a time of 1:55.55
