Congratulations to Logan Stinson for becoming the first Wilmington University Wildcat to score 100 career goals for the Lacrosse team. The all-time program leader in goals and points now has 101 career goals, 51 career assists, for 152 career points at this writing.






Congratulations to Wilmington's Giovanni Marino for becoming the second student-athlete in program history to record 100 career goals. Marino now has 100 goals and 24 assists for 124 career points.




Delmar's Baylie Phillips has committed to attend Appalachian State University in NC where she will play field hockey for the Mountaineers.





TJ Martin from St. Marks has signed an NLI to attend Louisville University where he will play football.






Delaware baseball second baseman Dan Covino was named CAA Player of the Week for his performance in the Hens' four games last week.

Covino put up one of his best performances of the year, batting .474 (9-19) with a triple, home run and four RBIs against Saint Joseph's and Charleston, leading Delaware to a 4-0 week. He hit .571 (8-14), scored six times and drove in four vs. CofC, including a season-high four hits on Friday and three on Saturday. He also walked four times for a .565 on-base percentage.





Milford's Ryan Mejia has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Delaware State University where he will play football for the Hornets.






Delaware's JP Ward was named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week for the Blue Hens Lacrosse team. He had a ten-point game against Hampton with 2 goals and 8 assists which tied the CAA Conference record.





Goldey Beacom's Johnny Kampes won his second CACC Baseball Player of the Week for the Lightning. He hit .522 with 2 homers, 11 rbis and 5 stolen bases.





Delaware's Hanna Garber was named the CAA Softball Player of the Week for the Blue Hens. She batted .800 (8-for-10) with three multi-hit efforts in Delaware's weekend sweep over Monmouth. She was on base in 10-of-12 plate appearances with a walk and a hit-by-pitch.





Delaware's Emily Winburn earned her second CAA Pitcher of the Week honor. She went 2-0 in the circle, throwing 12.0 innings of shutout ball with eight strikeouts, leading Delaware to three-consecutive shutouts over the Monmouth Hawks.






Delaware Military Academy's Ashley Hughes has signed a National Letter of Intent to extend her education and play soccer at Shippensburg University in PA.






St. Elizabeths named their 4x100 meter relay team as the Maroon & Gold Athletes of the Week.





Sussex Central High softball player Madge Layfield allowed only three hits and two runs in 14 innings pitched last week. She threw a seven-inning no-hitter against Milford and struck out 13 against Indian River.






Archmere's Tori Conner pitched a no-hitter for the Auks. They beat MOT Charter 16-0. Conner struckout 12 and also went 3-3 with 2 triples and 6 rbis in the game.





Sanford's Dayon Polk has committed to attend West Point Academy where he will play basketball...and become a Bulldog.





Caravel's Miles Hood is committed to attend Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia where he will play for the soccer team.







Salesianum's Head Lacrosse Coach Bob Healy celebrated his 300th career win. He has led Salesianum to 11 State Championships and they are the defending State Champions.
