Johnny Kampes from Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington broke a single-game record for the baseball team when he stole 6 bases in an 8-4 win against Felician College.

With a coaching victory over Norfolk State, Delaware State head baseball coach, JP Blandin recorded his 500th career win. The victory was an 8-7 win in the second game of a double-header sweep against the Spartans.

Salesianum's AJ Bratton is heading to Georgian Court Court University in Lakewood, NJ, where he will join the Men's Lacrosse team.

Jimmy Garrett was named the St. Elizabeth's Maroon & Gold Athlete of the Week. During the Easter Break the Viking Baseball Team grabbed two wins, defeating both Newark Charter and Newark High School. In those two games, Jimmy led the way with four hits including two triples and one double. He also scored three runs and was the winning pitcher against Newark Charter.

For the third-consecutive week, and the fifth time this season, University of Delaware softball senior pitcher Emily Winburn has been named the CAA Pitcher of the Week. The honor recognizes Winburn's performance in Delaware's CAA series victory over Drexel.
For the fourth-straight CAA weekend, Winburn went 2-0 as the Blue Hens improved to 12-3 in conference play.

Madison Hranicka of Delaware's women's lacrosse team was named CAA Defensive Player of the Week after her historic game against Drexel.
Hranicka tied a Delaware single-game program record with seven caused turnovers and scooped up six ground balls. Her seven caused turnovers were tied for the most in a game by a CAA player this year, and the most in a CAA game this year.

Delaware senior defender Owen Grant was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
This is the second time this season Grant was awarded the conference's defensive player of the week.
Grant led a defensive unit that held the second-ranked offensive attack in the conference to single-digit goals as the Blue Hens remained undefeated in CAA play with a 12-9 win over Stony Brook. He caused three turnovers, three ground balls and added one point with his sixth goal this season.

Delani Sheehan who was named the CACC Pitcher of the Week after striking out 19 batters in 18 innings, going 2-0 with a 0.39 ERA in 4 appearances. She is now 10-5 on the year with a 2.68 ERA for the Wilmington Wildcats Softball Team.

Dover's Ashtyn Torbert scored her 100th career goal for the Dover Senators Girl's Lacrosse team. It came in a victory over Delaware Military. Ashtyn is holding the second sign from the left in this picture.

In a battle of undefeated Delaware softball teams, The Delmarva Christian Royals beat the Appoquinimink Jaguars 2-0. In the game, Royals pitcher Kaylan Yoder threw a perfect game striking out 20 of the 21 Jaguars who faced her. She also hit a homerun in the contest. This was her 4th no-hitter of the year, the 2nd of which was perfect.

Madge Layfield from Sussex Central notched her 600th career strikeout for the Golden Knights softball team. The milestone whiff came in a 14-k win against Nandua, VA.

Padua's March Lacrosse Athlete of the Month - Abbie Johnson
Abbie Johnson is a junior goalie for the lacrosse team. She has been a starter since freshman year and really the backbone of a solid defense. Goalie in lacrosse may be one of the hardest positions in any sport, and Abbie has the bruises to prove it.

Sophia Holgado - Padua's March Track & Field March Athlete of the Month
Sophia finished the indoor track & field season with First Team All State honors and has opened up her Spring Track & Field season with big personal records in both the mile (5:08) and 800m (2:18) at the most recent N5CTA Invitational.

Hannah Ellett - Padua's March Soccer Athlete of the Month
Hannah is a returning starter from the state championship team last year starting and playing all 100 minutes in the state final as a defender. She has changed positions this year and is now a forward. She scored the game tying goal against Appo in the last 5 minutes in the Panda's opening game and scored a hat trick (3 goals) against Odyssey Charter in their second game.

Stephanie Ng is Padua's Tennis Athlete of the Month for March. She earned her way on the team as the 3rd single's member of the squad picking up an important 3-set win in a match against Wilmington Friends.
