Caesar Rodney's Nate Legg has signed an NLI to attend Montevallo University in Alabama. Legg will join the Falcons Wrestling team.






Graham Lindsay from Middletown scored the 100th point of his career with the Cavaliers Boy's Lacrosse team.






Breon Simms from Red Lion Christian signed his NLI to attend Wilkes University in PA. He will play for the football team.







Johnny Woodfield, from Red Lion Christian, signed his letter of intent to play football for Quincy University in Illinois







Seth McGroerty from Red Lion Christian signed his NLI to attend Grove City College in PA where he will play for the football team.




Ray Romano from Red Lion Christian is signed to attend Albright University in PA where he will play for the football team.







Polytech's Mara Everton threw her third no-hitter of the year. This one was against Seaford in a 15-k effort in which she also whiffed the 150th batter of the season.






Sussex Central's Madge Layfield notched her 700th career strikeout. The milestone whiff came in an important 1-0 win against St. Marks HS.





The Indian River Indian Softball team are Champions of the Henlopen South Conference for 2023. They were 14-3 for the regular season and will take on Sussex Central for the overall Conference Crown.






Madison Fuller from William Penn threw a no-hitter against Newark. The Colonials beat the Yellowjackets 15-0.







Rae'Ayn Gilbert from Lindbergh Sr HS in Renton, WA is coming to Dover where she has signed an NLI to attend Delaware State University and join the Women's Soccer team.







Taylor Holly from St. Marks has verbally committed to play volleyball and attend the University of Delaware .






Ava Borcky from St. Marks has committed to attend Catholic University. She will join the volleyball program for the Cardinals.












The Indians of Indian River won the overall Henlopen Conference Softball Championship for 2023. They beat Sussex Central 5-2. Sophie Scursi hit a late-inning grand slam to help launch the Indians into the State Tournament as the Conference Champs







Cape Henlopen, the Henlopen North Champs won the overall Henlopen Conference Baseball title beating Indian River, the Henlopen South Champs 11-1. The Vikings are 13-4 with one game remaining before the state tournament. The Indians are 12-3. Brenn Scott hit a 3-run homer in this game for Cape.






The Smyrna Eagles Girls Track & Field team are the 2023 Henlopen Conference Champions.






Tye Kurtz, from the U of DE Men's Lacrosse team, collected his 100th career assist in a win over Marist. He becomes the second player in program history to have 100 goals and 100 assists in a career for the Blue Hens.






The Blue Hen Women's Basketball team signed 6-2 forward/center Arantxa Portalez from Spain to a National Letter of Intent. She is from the El Olivar basketball club.
