Salesianum won the New Castle County Track & Field team title for 2023







The Cavaliers of Middletown are Girl's Soccer Champions of the Blue Hen Flight A Conference for 2023. They finished the regular season with a 12-2-1 record.






The Quakers of Wilmington are Champions of the DISC for 2023. They finished the regular season undefeated in Conference play.

Polytech's Mara Everton recorded the 300th strikeout of her career for the Panthers softball team. The milestone strikeout came during a 16-whiff victory in a 9-2 win over St. Georges.






The UD Field Hockey team announced they have signed Elen Nicholls from Kent, England to a National Letter of Intent.






Amanda Cimillo from Pleasant Valley HS in NY signed an NLI to join the UD Field Hockey team. She is a goalie.






Tetje Williamson from Oley, PA signed an NLI to play field hockey for the Fightin Blue Hens. She is a defender.






With a 14-2 regular season record, the Riders of Caesar Rodney are the Henlopen Conference Golf Champions for 2023.






Polytech's Emilyn Bivens signed with Immaculata University and will continue her field hockey career while studying Nutrition.






The Middletown Cavalier Softball team won the 2023 Blue Hen Flight A Conference regular-season Championship. Their record with two games left in the season was 13-3.







The Odessa Duck Softball team won the Blue Hen Flight B Conference Championship for 2023. Their regular season record at this writing was 13-4.






Joe Baker ’24 didn't just break St. Andrew's 2k record in rowing-he smashed it with a time of 6:09.9. Less than two years after picking up the sport, Baker has become one of the best young rowers in the nation. “One of the college recruiters who visited said there are probably only three kids his age who are as fast as him in the country,” says Founders Head Crew Coach Will Porter ’96.

The Archmere Auks Rugby team are the State Rugby Champions winning a 17-12 double OT game in the Mark Dombroski Rugby Sevens State Championship game.






The Tatnall School's Lydia Colasante scored the 300th goal of her career for the Hornets Lacrosse team.






Azareya Kilgoe from the Sanford School signed her NLI to attend Cornell University where she will join the Basketball program.

The Sanford Warriors are 2023 Co-Champions of the DISC in Baseball. They had a 16-1 regular season record. The only loss was to the other Co-Champions from Tower Hill, who were 13-5 for the year. This was the Warriors first DISC title since 1975.





Mara Everton from Polytech threw her 4th no-hitter of the year for the Panthers softball team. This came against the Flight B Champion Ducks of Odessa. Everton had 17 strikeouts in the game and surpassed the 200-k mark for the season.


































The Polytech Panthers are the 2023 Girl's Soccer Champions of the Henlopen Conference. They beat Sussex Academy 2-1 in the Conference Championship game to end the regular season 12-3. Natalia Marlow and Sierra Henry were the goal scorers for the Panthers.







For the first time in program history, the Wilmington Wildcats softball team is headed to the NCAA DII Softball Championship after defeating Adelphi, 3-1, in the third game of the East Super Regional Finals. After Adelphi won game two to even the series, 1-1, the Wildcats scored three runs in the 4th of game three and Kylee Gunkel closed the game on mound, allowing only one run on seven hits for another complete game against the Panthers. Tristyn Stewart, Sara Miller, and Haley Downin had the RBI in the three-run fourth inning.




The Wildcats will now be one of the final eight teams to participate in the NCAA DII Softball Championships in Chattanooga, Tennessee, starting Thursday, May 25. They will take Grand Valley State University from Michigan.
