Delaware Miltary's Ashley Hughes kicked off...haha...the Seahawks season is grand fashion as she scored 4 goals in a 5-0 win over Conrad.

University of Delaware softball freshman Graceyn Frost has been named the CAA Pitcher of the Week. The award recognizes Frost's efforts in UD's 3-1 week against Mount St. Mary's and Villanova.

Frost went 2-0 in the circle, picking up 14 strikeouts without allowing just one unearned run in 13.0 innings of work for the Blue Hens throughout the week. In the weekend finale, Frost pitched all 8.0 innings in a 3-1 extra-inning win for Delaware over Villanova. She collected a career-high nine strikeouts while allowing just five hits and no earned runs in the performance.




Odessa High School won its first ever Varsity game behind Mackenzie Keating who went 4-4 with a triple and 3 rbi. Mike Biondolillo pitched 5 solid innings for the win.




Greenwood Mennonite played its first-ever varsity girl's soccer match against TOME yesterday. Sophomore Laci Mast scored all four goals for her team. Unfortunately, they lost 12-4.




Ryan Sandberg struck out a program's second-best 15 batters as the Wilmington University baseball team started its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule with a 10-5 victory over Thomas Jefferson





Delaware State freshman bowler Sydney Reardon was named the MEAC Rookie of the Year as announced by league earlier this afternoon.


Reardon, a three-time MEAC Rookie of the Week, averaged 197.26 pins in traditional play this season.






Goldey-Beacom track & field runner, Sophomore Camilla Flagg (Mardela Springs, MD,) was the Women's Track Athlete of the Week in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference She notched a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter run at 2:35.08 Saturday at the Monarch Invitational.





Wyatt Skinner, Whitman Stout and Aiden Cannon combined to no hit the Gladiators.

The Seahawks had 21 hits in their home opener.




Ryan Reichard & Trey Mullin threw a combined no-hitter over 4 innings for Hodgson. Nelvin Rivera led the offensive attack going 4 for 4 with a double & triple & 4 RBI's. Reichard added 3 hits & 3 RBI's.




Sage Cookerly scored 6 goals in St. Andrew's 13-3 win over Wilmington Charter in Boy's Lacrosse.





Alex Harrington scored her 100th career lacrosse goal for the Archmere Auks in a 19-3 win over Delaware Military Academy. She scored 7 of the Auks goals in this game.






More Odessa Duck history as they win their first-ever varsity girl's lacrosse game beating AI duPont 17-0. Two goals each were scored by Anna Stewart Wall, Alexis Henderson, Naomi Hayzel, and Gianna Bozzo.
