With their 4-0 victory over Wilmington Christian, Scott Clothier notched his 100th career victory as head coach of the WFS field hockey team.

Alaina Walsh led Delcastle with 4 goals and the Cougars beat Newark 6-0. The Cougars are 2-2

Football


St. Elizabeth beat McKean 38-0. For the Vikings, Quarterback Cole Andrews threw 3 touchdowns, ran for one, threw three 2-point conversions and ran for another. It was the Vikings first win of the season. The Highlanders will head into next week still looking for their first.

Salesianum is 3-0 and Smyrna is 0-3 as the Sals beat the Eagles 28-12. BJ Alleyne rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns for Sallies.

St. Andrews rolled over Early College School. Frank Nasta threw for 269 yards 4 touchdowns and ran in one touchdown for the Saints. Spencer Fairbanks caught two of those Nasta touchdown passes and had 100 yards receiving.

Boy's Soccer



Cape Henlopen stays unbeaten at 3-0 with a 1-0 overtime victory over Appoquinimink. Cardin Benjamin scored the game-winner to drop the Jaguars to 0-2-2.

Volleyball



Dover is back in the win column beating Sanford in three close, straight, sets. Elizabeth Baughman led the Senators with 13 kills and had 32 digs on defense.

Ursuline also bounces back from their first loss of the season and improve to 5-1 with a 3-1 win over Delmarva Christian. The Raiders were paced by Caitlyn McGonigal and Juliette Cummings who were both in double digits in kills. The Royals fall to 2-4 on the year.

Padua beat Caravel 3-0 to change their record to 2-3. Vanessa Mancini led the Pandas with 12 kills. Padua takes on city, and Catholic Conference rival, Ursuline this coming Thursday.
