The WFS soccer team captured the DISC Championship this fall with an undefeated record in conference play, winning all nine matchups and outscoring their opponents 34-6. The Quakers finished their regular season campaign with an overall record of 12-2-1.






For the first time since 2012, the WFS field hockey team captured a share of the DISC Championship. The Quakers, who finished the regular season with an overall record of 12-3, went 7-2 in DISC play and outscored their DISC opponents 24-7.





Elle Roberts from Caesar Rodney has committed to attend Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia where she will join the Women's Lacrosse Team.





Delaware Military Academy named Margot Kuennen, from the Field Hockey team, as the Seahawks Athlete of the Month.






Tatnall named their Runners of the Week for Week #5. For the girls, Ella Simmons, a freshman, is the honoree. For the boys, Sophomore Jacob Politis earned the distinction.





The Hornets Runners of the Week for week #6 were Krissa Woods, an 8th grader for the girls, and Nikolai Latina, a Junior, for the boys.










The Middletown Cavaliers won the overall Blue Hen Conference Volleyball Championship for 2023. The Flight A Champions beat the Flight B Champions from Concord in straight set. The Cavaliers earned a first-round bye as the #8 seed. The Raiders are the #11 seed and will host #22, Indian River, tonight.





Boy's Soccer


Wilmington Friends beat their conference rivals from St. Andrews 7-2. Senior Robert Lohcamp scored three goals for the playoff-bound Quakers.
