Wilmington University captures the 2024 CACC Cross Country Championship by 18 points over Caldwell. It is their 8th team championship, all coming since 2012.

The Newark Charter Middle School Boys and Girls Cross Country team captured the Central Delaware Championships
The University of Delaware Women's Soccer team featured 6 All CAA Honorees for this season. From top to bottom, left to right, Kyla Burns made the first team. Conny Viehmann was named to the second team, Caitlin St. Leger made the second team. Olivia Bley and Brooke Vogel were named to the All-Rookie team and Carly Binn earned third team honors.
Kyla Burns was named the CAA Goalie of the Year.
Harper Mamele led Cape Henlopen with 15 kills in their sweep of Middletown. Emerson Smith had 29 assists. The Vikings will take on the top-seeded Pandas of Padua at 6 on Saturday.

Alexa Guarneri scored a game-winning, overtime goal to push the Force of Wilmington Charter into the semifinal round. They will take on Cape Henlopen to try to advance to the State Championship Game.
Cape Henlopen beat St. Georges 10-0 to advance to the semifinal round. Macy Steinwedel scored 4 goals for the Vikings. Alysa McCarthy scored 3 times. Atia Sabbagh and Mairead Rishko each had two assists in the win.

Bree Moffett scored 4 goals to help lead Smyrna to their 6-0 win over Sussex Tech. Addison Beamer and Cara Nacrelli scored the other two goals. The Eagles will face Middletown in the semifinal round.

To get the chance to play Smyrna, Middletown beat Odessa 5-3. This is the farthest the Cavaliers have advanced in a State Field Hockey Championship Tournament. Layla Dukes had a hand in all five goals scoring one and assisting on the other 4. Two of those were scored by Sarah Kasper.
