Ursuline Academy's Sophia Filipowski signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Division 1 Saint Francis University, Loretto, PA.







Gabriella Paolella from Ursuline is heading to Massachusetts where she will join the Track & Field team at the College of the Holy Cross.





Madeleine Cherry from Ursuline Academy has signed her NLI to attend Merrimack University in Massachusetts where she will play field hockey.






Natalie Johnson from Ursuline Academy is heading the Lafayette University where she will join the Swimming team.








Reagan Waggoner from Archmere Academy has signed a letter of intent to attend Sacred Heart University and join the equestrian team.






Bella Dell’Oso from Archmere Academy has signed her NLI to attend Temple and join the field hockey team.





Emma Gioffre from Archmere Academy has signed her NLI to attend Cincinnati University where she will play soccer.






Jack O'Neill from Archmere Academy is headed to Erie, PA to join the Mercyhurst University Lacrosse team.





Veronica Diomede from Caravel has signed her NLI to attend the U of DE and play for the softball team.





Ben Conkey from Caravel has signed his NLI to attend Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia and play for the baseball team.






Leila Rocke from Caravel Academy is heading to Florida to attend Seminole State College of FL and play for the softball team.





Izzy Wade from Indian River has signed her NLI to attend Lynchburg University. She will play for the softball team.





Meghan Shirey from Smyrna has signed her NLI to attend WMBC where she will join the softball program.





Kira Agne from Wilmington Friends is heading to Washington DC where she has signed her NLI to attend Georgetown University and the swimming team.





Aubrey Nisbet from Wilmington Friends School has signed her NLI to attend Wake Forest University where she will play tennis.






Jocelyn Nathan from Wilmington Friends has signed her NLI to head to Penn State where she will join the volleyball program.





Audrey Everett from the Sanford School signed her NLI to head to Quinnipiac University and play for the Field Hockey team.






Cantwell's Bridge Middle School (CBMS) defeated Everett Meredith Middle School (EMMS) to capture the 1st ever District Championship. The two teams fought to a 0-0 tie at the end of regulation play. When the score remained tied after the 7 on 7 OT period, the champion was determined by penalty strokes. The teams were locked at 2-2 going into the final round of penalty strokes. CBMS goalie Alyssa Timmons deflected the final shot by EMMS to open the door for teammate Ally Taylor to connect on the final penalty shot of the game to capture the 2022 ASD Field Hockey Championship. Brenna Jester and Caroline Perry each connected on their penalty strokes for CBMS. Bella Armchencht, and Alison Stephan scored for EMMS during penalty strokes







Congratulations to Wilmington Mens Soccer team three All-CACC Second Team selections. They had one in each third of the field, including forward Marcus Hedemann, midfielder Tajhay Williams, and defender Richard Thompson.






Samantha Emmi has been voted First Team All-CACC for the second year in a row for Wilmington University. She started all 18 games at centerback scoring six goals on the year which was second on the team.








Congratulations to Wilmington University's All-CACC performers at the Women's CACC Championships. Yailynn Ramirez (left) finished third overall while Taylor Burchfield (right) finished 8th overall to earn All-CACC honors.








Congratulations to Wilmington University's All-CACC mens performers at the CACC Championship. Trent Taylor (right) led the team with a 3rd place finish while Vaughn Lackman (center) finished 6th overall. Dan Wyshinski (left) placed 12th overall. All-CACC are the Top-15 finishers at the Championship. Vaughn Lackman was the top freshman finisher, earning CACC Rookie of the Year honors.







Congratulations to HB duPont Field Hockey team for clinching the district middle school championship.
