The St. Mary Magdelan Bulldogs were the varsity champions winning their championship game over St. Johns-Holy Angels 12-0.

The St. Marks Spartans repeated as Delaware State HS Volleyball Champions yesterday. They finished their season with a perfect record of 18-0. The beat Padua 25-23, 25-18, and 25-18. Nicole Dimiris and Mya Lewis led the balanced Spartan attack with 10 kills each. Brooke Dow had 8 and Julia Yurkovich 7. Lewis had 17 assists and Katie Sonchen had 19. Padua was led offensively by Meghan Peters who recorded 14 kills and Audrey Lyons who had 29 assists.

This was St. Mark's 12th state volleyball championship and the 9th led by head coach Nancy Griskowitz.

The third place match featured Newark Charter and Wilmington Friends. The Patriots took third place with a 2-1 win over the Quakers. Isabel Esenyan had 31 assist including her 1000th career assist in the contest.
