The U of DE Blue Hen Volleyball team won the CAA regular season championship. They defeated Elon in straight sets (25-19, 25-19, 25-17) on Saturday, Nov. 16 to clinch a share of the CAA Regular Season Championship. This was their 10th consecutive win, the longest active streak in the CAA. Delaware also set a program record by winning 18 consecutive sets.
Sussex Academy wins the D2 Boys Soccer State Championship with a 2-1 win over St. Andrews. The match was decided 3-2 in a PK shootout. Seahawk goalie Carter Norton made the game-saving and winning save on the final shot by St. Andrews. The Seahawks are back-to-back Champions also winning 2-1 in a shootout game last year.
Caesar Rodney upends Salesianum 3-1 to win the D1 State Championship. Edualy Simon, Joseph Honore, and Trevor Sullivan scored for the Riders. This is the first State Championship in soccer for Caesar Rodney since 1994.
Reagan Garnsey from Caesar Rodney has signed an NLI to attend Williams & Mary College in Virginia. She will join the Swimming Team.
Elaina Millaway, the Volleyball Player of the Year, from Delmarva Christian, has signed her NLI to attend Florida Gulf Coast University. She will play Beach Volleyball.
Ashlyn Jordan from Milford signed a commitment letter to attend Coker University in S. Carolina. She will join the Field Hockey program.
