The Tatnall Hornets Cross Country teams traveled to Cary, NC to compete in the Nike XC Regional Championships and won the meet. The win helped them earn a berth to the Nationals in Oregon.


Abby Downin was the top Hornet finisher in 12th place with a time of 17:39. Ruby Schwelm was 14th in 17:42. Katie Payne was 17th in 17:46. Carlita Kaliher was 19th in 17:49. Katrina Endres was 56th in 18:30. Indian Rivers' Brynn Crandell ran unattached and finished 9th overall in this same race with a time of 17:37. There were 227 runners in the race.







The Tatnall Hornet Boy's also won their Division edging out a squad from Towson, Maryland.

Ben Pizzaro was 6th overall individually with a time of 15:49. There were two open invitationals and the Hornets were the overall winner across both divisions. Jackson Downin, Luke Cain, and Gavin Leffler combined to help the Hornets victory. Jason Baker from Cape Henlopen was 28th in 16:05. There were 640 runners in this race.

Conrad's Sebatian Bergstrasser won the Rising Stars race by 7 seconds with a time of 16:11. He beat out 187 other runners to capture the title.

Carter Norton

Carter Norton is the goalie from the Sussex Academy Seahawks. A couple of big saves in the Championship Game against St. Marks helped lead the Seahawks defense to an eventual 2-1 win over the Spartans and the State Championship






Gianluca Marroni

Gianluca Marroni scored a hat trick for Salesianum's Soccer team in the State Championship Game against Cape Henlopen to propel the Sals to a 4-2 win and the teams third straight State Championship.






Abigayle Osborne

Abigayle Osborne is the setter for the Smyrna Eagles Volleyball team. She had 44 assists in the Championship Game against Ursuline to help the Eagles to a 3-1 match victory and the Eagles first-ever Delaware State Championship.
