Emarie Jackson from Greensburg High School in Indiana signed an NLI to attend the U of DE where she will join the Track & Field team. Jackson is the reigning New Balance Nationals Outdoor champion in the shot put, where she logged a winning throw of 47-9.25

Ryan Tattersall rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns as Wilmington Friends beat Tower Hill in the state's longest running football rivalry 35-0. The Quakers are now 8-1 with Archmere left on the schedule and in their district. They are 3-1 with a loss to Howard while Archmere is 4-0 with a win over Howard.

Tatnall beat Wilmington Charter 52-0 as the Hornets clinched their district for 2023. They are now 8-1, 6-0. Rahshan Lamons rushed for 193 yards and a touchdown and threw for 131 yards and three touchdowns.

Division 2 Field Hockey Quarterfinal Round Results
Jordyn Hollamon scored 5 goals and assisted on 2 others as she was involved in all of Delmar's 7 goals in a 7-1 win over Sussex Academy. Laela Brown scored the other two goals and assisted on two of Hollamons. Rilyn Lehman scored for Sussex Academy.

#3 Caravel beat #6 Archmere 2-1. 8th grader Carly Milhorn scored the game-winner at the 1:31 mark of the 4th quarter. Buc goalie Addison Van Rensler stopped an Archmere penalty stroke to help on defense. Caravel advances to play Delmar in the semifinals on Tuesday at Rullo Stadium at 4pm.

#9 Lake Forest took #1 Newark Charter to the 4th quarter tied without a score. But Blue Hen Commit Amanda Rattay scored the game winner for the Patriots at the 7:00 mark to propel them to the semifinals. Riley Redding had the shutout in goal for Newark turning away 5 Spartan shots.

#5 Wilmington Friends blanked #4 St. Marks 1-0 to advance to the semifinals. Sophomore Cora Lohkamp scored the eventual game-winner in the 3rd quarter. Ella Morton recorded the shutout in goal for the Quakers. They advance to play #1 Newark Charter on Tuesday at 6pm at Rullo Stadium.
