The Henlopen South Delmar Wildcats are the Henlopen Conference Champions after beating the Henlopen North Cape Henlopen Vikings in Field Hockey 3-2 in overtime.




Sophia Messick from St. Marks has committed to attend Bluefield college in Virginia to extend her education and play for the basketball team.






Sussex Tech's Dakota Kelly has committed to attend Delaware Tech and play for the baseball team. He is also a member of the Delaware Ace's Baseball Program




In a win against Mt. Pleasant this week, Wilmington Friends Field Hockey star, Madeline Rowland scored three goals and added one assist. This effort allowed her to reach, and surpass, the 100-point mark for her career as a Quaker.





Football




Auk quarterback Chris Albero threw for 229 yards and 4 touchdowns as Archmere beat Brandywine 42-7. This game went to a running clock in the second half. Archmere is now 6-2 on the year. The Bulldogs are still searching for their first win.






Roman Paoli threw for 4 touchdowns as the Force of Wilmington Charter improved to 8-1 for the year. They beat Christiana 54-0 in a game which also featured a second-half running clock.

Boy's Soccer




Indian River won the Boy's Soccer Henlopen Conference Championship beating Cape Henlopen 4-1. They now head into the state tournament as the #2 seed in Division 2.



Volleyball



Archmere beat Dover in straight sets to advance to the semifinal round. We will see in a moment who their opponent will be on Tuesday at St. Marks.




Smyrna advanced to the quarterfinal round with a straight-set victory over Delaware Military Academy. Senior Skylar Berge had a double-double stat day leading the Eagles with 11 kills adding 10 digs. The Eagles will face Tower Hill at St. Marks on Tuesday.

Molly Pietlock had a triple-double match with 10 kills, 12 digs, and 18 assists. The 9th seeded Hillers of Tower Hill beat #8 Concord in straight sets. They advance to play Smyrna in the quarterfinal round at St. Marks on Tuesday.

#5 Caravel handled #12 Middletown in straight sets. Laila Glover led the Bucs with 13 kills. Morgan Moxley had 26 assists. The Buccaneers will face #4 Archmere in the quarterfinals at St. Marks on Tuesday.
