Layna Gerhard from Tower Hill has committed to play softball for Ohio State University. She plays for the Extreme Elite 18U National team.

Smyrna beat Indian River 6-0 to improve their record to 8-1. Sr. London Bebout scored 3 goals and had two assists for the Eagles.

St. Marks is now 6-3 and Milford 5-4-1 as the Spartans beat the Buccaneers 3-1. Keiran Haywood scored twice for St. Marks in the victory.

The Blue Raiders are now 7-2 as they drop Dover 6-0. Payton Keeler had 3 goals and two assists for Woodbridge.

Conrad outlasted MOT Charter 3-2. Kayla Dillon scored twice and assisted on the other Red Wolves goal.

Delmar outshot Polytech 39-0 beating them 8-0. Baylie Phillips, Josie Hollamon and Maci Bradford each scored twice for the Wildcats. Jourdyn Johnson made 25 saves for the Panthers.












Boy's Soccer




Sophomore Nicholas Rocco scored two of St. Marks goals in the Spartans 7-0 win against St. Elizabeth's. The Spartans had 31 shots on goal to the Vikings zero. Freshman Justin Bozzo had 24 saves for the Vikes.






The Force beat the Seahawks 5-1. Matt Capretto and Anthony Amato each had 2 goals and one assist. Wilmington Charter is now 5-1. Delaware Military is 4-4-1

Aldo Hernandez-Becerra had a goal and three assists for Cape Henlopen. The Vikings beat Seaford 5-1.

They are now 7-1 on the season.

Concord handed AI duPont a 9-2 defeat. Aiden Johnson and Chrisofeso Simmons each had three goals and an assist for the Raiders. They are now 4-6 for the year.

Wilmington Friends beat Sanford 8-1. Alessio Cristanetti-Walker scored three goals and had two assists. Zachary Antao scored three goals and Philip Manolakos assisted on four goals for the 6-1 Quakers.

Volleyball



The Smyrna Eagles handed St. Marks their first loss in three years and beat them in straight sets in Pike Creek. Anna Richardson led Smyrna with 16 kills. Karalyn Osborne had 30 assists. The Eagles are now 10-1 and beat Archmere, Padua, and now St. Marks having only lost a 5-set battle with Caravel.

Newark Charter takes control of the Diamond State Conference and improve to 9-1 on the year. They beat Delaware Military 3 sets to 1. Freshman Kennedy Pavlekovich led the Patriots with 16 kills and she also had 16 assists. Devin Diodato had 30 assists for Newark Charter.
