Lauren Carbonara from Christiana has committed to attend East Stroudsburg University in PA where she will play softball





Tatnall named Abby Downin and Teddy Davey their Cross Country runners of the week. The girls just entered the HS National Rankings.






Field Hockey



Milford improves to 8-2 with a 10-0 win against Sussex Central. Sophomore Isabel Betts scored three goals and added an assist for the Buccaneers. Their only losses were to Smynra, who are undefeated, and Cape Henlopen who lost their only game to Smyrna.

Cape Henlopen beat Dover 10-0. Senior Grace Wiggins scored three goals and had an assist for the Vikings who are now 10-1 for the year.

Bree and Dru Moffett each scored a hat trick for the Eagles as Smyrna downed Sussex Tech 9-0.






Concord beat Hodgson 7-0. Gabrielle Gray scored three times. Meghan Dombchick assisted on three goals.

Boy's Soccer



Freshman Gabriel Arbuet scored four goals as Appoquinimink beat Mt. Pleasant 6-0. The Jaguars are 4-3-2 for the year.

Sophomore George Sapna and 8th grader Bodhin Williams scored goals to lead Sussex Academy to a 2-0 win over Lake Forest. With the victory they clinch their first-ever Henlopen South Conference Championship. They await their opponent from the North and will meet them on 11-4 for the overall Henlopen Conference Championship.












Volleyball



Wilmington Christian beat St. Andrews 3 sets to 1. Maria Cocco-Lambie led the Warriors on offense and defense with 24 kills and 22 digs.

St. Marks stays undefeated at 11-0 as they beat Appoquinimink in straight sets. Four different Spartans had double-digit figures in kills. Sophomore setter Maddie Way had 38 assists. The Jaguars are 6-4.

Dover beat Cape Henlopen in 4 sets. Sophomore setter Jasmine Hollum led the Senators with 48 assists. Elizabeth Baughman had 12 kills and 36 digs.






Newark Charter beat Tatnall 3-0. Sophomore Kennedy Pavlekovich had a triple double with 14 kills, 11 digs, and 19 assists. The Patriots break a 3-match losing streak and are now 6-3.

Sussex Academy beat Lake Forest in four sets. Danica Duncan led the Seahawks with 18 kills and is now the all-time leader in kills for the volleyball program. Grace Fiorilla had 36 assists. With this victory the Seahawks clinch the Henlopen South Conference Championship and will play for the overall title against Smyrna.
