Smyrna handed Archmere its first loss of the season 3-0 and improved to 10-1 on the year. Regan Nacrelli scored the first goal, which proved to be the game-winner in the first quarter. Dru Moffett scored two more insurance goals assisted on both by Meghan Shirey. The Eagles face Delmar on Thursday, the 20th.












Cape Henlopen blasted Padua 8-0 Grace Wiggins found payday three times and Louis Rishko twice. The Vikings are now 10-1.

Madeline Rowland had three goals for Wilmington Friends in their Homecoming game against St. Andrews. Final score here was 5-0.

Football


Xavier Limehouse scored three touchdowns for Laurel and the Bulldogs beat Odessa 42-0. Kaden Shockley scored two touchdowns to contribute to the cause.

Frank Nasta threw for three touchdowns. St. Andrews beat Glasgow 25-16. Nasta three for 221 yards completing 2 touchdown strikes to Yas Felton and one to Griffin Patterson









Archmere beat Tower Hill 28-14. Auk Quarterback Chris Albero had a hand in all four Auk touchdowns throwing two and rushing two. He ran for 133 yards.

In the district rivalry game between Mt. Pleasant and Brandywine, it was Mount with a 34-0 victory. Dahmir Byrd rushed for 184 and a touchdown to help lead the Green Knights. They are now 2-3 while Brandywine is 0-6.

Boy's Soccer




In the most anticipated game of the year the two State Championship programs from 2021 clashed in Bear. Salesianum beat Caravel 2-1 to hand the Buccaneers their first loss of the season. All-American Jake Ross scored the eventual game winner as the Sals came from behind to win. The goal was scored on a PK that was originally stopped but Ross knocked in the rebound for the goal. Both teams are now 10-1.

Alessio Cristanetti-Walker scored three goals for Wilmington Friends against Tatnall in their Homecoming game and the Quakers won 5-1. He then ran into the locker room after this 1pm game, changed into his football uniform for the Quakers 230 Homecoming game and kicked two extra points and two 30-yard field goals.










Nicholas Panyko scored all three of Cape Henlopen's goals and the Vikings beat Brandywine 3-1. Cape is now 9-1 on the year. The Bulldogs are now 6-4.

Volleyball


Padua picked up a much-needed victory in a 5-set match against Delaware Military. Aanya Yatavelli had 31 kills in the match for the Pandas who are now 4-6. The Seahawks drop to 8-4 with three matches to go, two against tough squads from Caravel and Cape Henlopen.
