Layla Dukes from Middletown has committed to attend Kutztown University in PA. She will join the Field Hockey program.

Sara Watson from Middletown has verbally committed to attend Elizabethtown College in PA where she intends to play for their Field Hockey team.

In Sussex Central's last football game, Malik Bell broke the 1000-yard rushing mark for the season. It was just the 6th game of the year.

Elaina Millaway from Delmarva Christian reached the 1000 Kill milestone for her career with the Royals Volleyball team.

Sussex Academy beat Stephen Decatur from Maryland 6-0. Rilyn Lehman scored a hat trick and had an assist. Shea Dehany had two goals for the Seahawks who are now 9-3 for the year.

Delmarva Christian beat Seaford 4-3 in overtime. 8th-Grader Olivia Balback scored three goals including the game-winner in the overtime period.

Volleyball

Ursuline beat Wilmington Charter in 4 sets. Juliette Cumming and CC DeCaro combined for 21 kills for the 10-2 Raiders. Seraphina Pabian had 17 for the Force who are now 8-4.

Tower Hill is now 9-1 as they beat Padua in straight sets. Sydney Fischer led the Hillers with 17 kills. Parker Lewicky had 32 assists. The Pandas are now 9-3.
