The Middletown Cavalier Boy's & Girl's Cross Country team both captured the Blue Hen Flight A Conference Championships for 2023. They were both undefeated in regular season races. For the girls Bella Walsh won every dual and tri-meet for the year.

Delmar beat Caesar Rodney 9-0. Jordyn Hollamon scored 5 goals to give her 53 for the year. The Wildcats play their rivals from Cape Henlopen on Thursday in Lewes at 6pm.

Newark Charter beat Sussex Academy 4-1. Amanda Rattay scored two goals and assisted on the other two for the Patriots. They are 11-1 for the year. The Seahawks are 6-5.

The Buccaneers of Milford improve to 9-2 as they beat Delmarva Christian 9-1. Junior Emmanuel Joseph scored three goals for the Bucs.

Volleyball

MOT Charter pushed St. Georges in this Appo District contest. The Hawks win 3-0 but check out the scores of the final two sets. Only 7 points in total separated the teams. Kayla Riley led St. Georges with 23 kills. The Hawks are 10-4 and the Mustangs are 9-4. MOT Charter has Wilmington Charter and Newark Charter left on their schedule.
