Conny Viehmann from the U of DE was named the Co-CAA Player of the Week for the Soccer team. Viehmann played a big role for the Blue Hens defense this week where she played all 180 minutes on the field, resulting in two clean sheet victories over Hampton and William & Mary by a score of 1-0. In the game against Hampton, she scored the go-ahead goal.







Ryan Organek from Delaware Military Academy was named the Seahawks Athlete of the Month for September. He set a school record in the 2.5 mile cross country event with a time of 12:52.2








Rowers Henry Davis '27 and Evan Viceconte '28 had an impressive weekend at the 36th Kings Head Regatta on the Schuylkill River. Davis won the Men's Open 2- (pair) and placed 4th in the Under 17 Men's 1x (single). Viceconte took first in the Under 15 Men's 2x (double).






Conrad's Gerald Mubaira recently competed in the 2024 WKA US Youth National Championship and won the gold medal in his division.









Field Hockey



Smyrna beat Milford 6-2. Bree Moffett scored three times for the now 6-2 Eagles. Hannah Zimmerman scored both goals for the 5-3 Buccaneers.

The Quakers of Wilmington Friends are now 7-1 as they beat Sanford 8-0. Lila Rubano scored three goals in the win. Cora Lohkamp and Molly Dolan each contributed two goals.

Boy's Soccer



Aspira Academy beat St. Elizabeth''s 5-1. Thomas Nunez Velasquez scored three times for the Wolves.

















Volleyball



Wilmington Charter took control of the Diamond State Conference and improved to 7-1 with a 4-set victory over Archmere. Seraphina Pabian led the Force with 17 kills.

Wilmington Friends swept Sanford 3-0. Scarlett Burleigh led the Quakers with 12 kills.

Tower Hill beat St. Andrews in 4 sets. Senior Lydia Spencer recorded 22 kills for the Hillers. Parker Lewicki handed out 46 assists.

St. Marks handed Newark Charter their first loss of the season in 4 sets. The Spartans are now 7-1 with the Patriots at 6-1. There are no undefeated teams left now in the state.
