Camryn Ehlers from Indian River has committed to attend Carson-Newman University in Tennessee and join the volleyball team.




Savannah Laird from Appoquinimink has announced she has committed to play softball and attend Virginia Wesleyan University.





Katie Lennon from St. Marks has committed to play soccer for Salisbury U. She is also a long-time member of the Hockessin Soccer Club






Maddie Mosier had a goal and three assists as Padua blanked St. Elizabeth's 8-0. The Pandas are now 5-6 while the Vikings are 4-6.

Football



Wilmington Friends improves to 7-0 for the year and beats Howard 34-8. Both teams are in Class 2A District 2 and both undefeated heading into the game. Quaker QB Robby Tattersall rushed for 140 yards and one touchdown and threw for 153 yards. Andrew McKenzie scored three times from the ground. They have Brandywine and Mt. Pleasant left in district on their schedule. Howard is now 6-1.

Boy's Soccer



Wilmington Charter handed Indian River its first loss of the season beating them 4-1. Four different Force players scored in the victory. They are now 9-1. Indian River is 9-1-1.










Volleyball




Tower Hill locked down the Independent Conference Championship with a 3-0 victory over Wilmington Friends. Chloe Sachs led the Hillers with 15 kills and she also added 15 assists. They are now 12-1 for the year.

Tatnall improved their record to 7-6 with a 3-1 win over Concord. The loss drops Concord to 11-3. Emma Kirby and Caitlin McGonigal each had 14 kills for the Hornets. Chloe Kennedy had 30 assists.

Delmarva Christian beat Ursuline for the first time in its program history. Sophomore Elaina Millaway led the Royals with 24 kills. Ellie Millaway had 22. Tess Kwiatkowski had 25 assists and her sister Maggie had 21 along with 22 digs. The Royals are now 13-1 with just a tough Caravel match remaining. Ursuline gets two bonus points, which they need, for playing the Royals. They are now 5-8 with Padua and St. Marks left to play in the regular season.
