Sarah McFarland from Middletown has verbally committed to attend Bucknell University in PA where she will join the Soccer program.

The Concord Raiders Girls and Boys Cross Country teams earned Blue Hen Flight B titles for 2024. Both teams were 6-0 for the Dual Meet season.

Smyrna beat Dover 5-0. Bree Moffett scored 4 goals for the 12-2 Eagles. The Senators fall to 1-13.

Christiana beat Howard 6-0. Junior Jordan Jones scored 4 goals for the Vikings.

Jax Winterrigner scored 3 goals and had two assists for Conrad as the Red Wolves beat St. Elizabeth's 10-0. Anderson Silvestre and Alvaro Perez each scored twice. Conrad is 11-1-1 for the year.

Glasgow beat Red Lion 8-0. Marcus Beugre scored 4 goals for the Dragons.

Volleyball

Smyrna came from down 2 sets to nothing to beat Dover in 5 sets. Each of the first 4 sets were won by identical 25-23 scores. No stats available for Smyrna. Jasmine Hallum had 45 assists for the Senators.

As a result of this match Cape Henlopen wins the Henlopen Conference Northern Division title.

Cape Henlopen beat Sussex Central in straight sets. Harper Mamele had 24 kills for the Vikings. Emerson Smith had 42 assists.

Padua beat Ursuline in 4 sets. They split their two matches for the season with the same 3-1 set scores. Kaitlyn Leberstien, who did not play in their first match-up, led the Pandas with 15 kills. She also had 22 assists. The Pandas end the regular season 11-4. Ursuline is 11-3 with St. Marks remaining on their schedule.
