Macy Steinwedel from Cape Henlopen has committed to attend Old Dominion University in Virginia where she will join the Women's Lacrosse Team.






The Middletown Cavaliers are officially the Blue Hen Conference Flight A Champions in Volleyball. They are 12-1 overall and undefeated in Conference play. They have earned an automatic berth into the State Tournament.






With an 11-4 overall record and unbeaten conference record, the Middletown Cavaliers are the Blue Hen Flight A Conference Champions. They receive an automatic berth to the State Tournament.






The Golden Knights of Sussex Central are the Henlopen Northern Conference Soccer Champions. They are 9-1-3 for the year with Cape Henlopen left on the schedule. But the Vikings have their two losses in conference and the Golden Knights are undefeated within it.








The Brandywine Bulldogs, currently 8-4-1, wrapped up the Blue Hen Flight B Conference Soccer Championship to earn an automatic berth into the State Tournament.





The Delcastle Cougars, for the second year in a row, are the Blue Hen Flight A Conference Champions. They are looking to complete their second undefeated regular season; this year 13-0-1 with Milford left on the schedule.





Sussex Academy wins the Henlopen Southern Conference Championship for Boy's Soccer. The Seahawks also earn a State Tournament berth. They are 11-2 at this writing.





Maddie Way, a sophomore from St. Mark's HS, reached the 1000 assist milestone for her career with the Spartans Volleyball Team. The mark came in a straight-set win against their rivals from Padua Academy.







Vanessa Mancini is the September Athlete of the Month for the Padua Volleyball team.





Anna Bockius is the September Athlete of the Month for the Padua Cross Country team.







Julia Pomeroy is the September Athlete of the Month for Padua's Field Hockey team.

Wilmington Christian beat St. Elizabeth's 8-0. Senior Maddie Anselmo scored three goals and had three assists for the Warriors. They are 5-9 for the year.

Wilmington Charter beat Appoquinimink 5-0. Alexa Guarneri scored three goals for the Force. Ella Stack assisted on three goals.

Volleyball



Delmarva Christian finished the regular season 8-7 with a win over Red Lion 3-0. Elaina Millaway led the Royals with 15 kills. She also had 14 digs in the match

Lake Forest beat Early College 3-0. Pacey Hull led the Spartans with 23 assists in the match. They are 8-6 with Indian River left on their schedule.
