Ethan Walther from Salesianum has committed to attend the University of Notre Dame where he will join the Distance Running team.

With a 5-0 win over Polytech, Middletown improves to 7-0 for the year. Sara Watson scored a hat trick for the Cavaliers. Flannery Grimm scored the other two.

Katie Hanich scored 4 goals for St. Marks as they shut out St. Georges 7-0. The Spartans are 7-2 for the season.

Odessa beat Conrad 34-0. Chase Belin rushed for over 100 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Ducks. They are 2-3 in 2A2. The Red Wolves are now 2-3. They are in 1A2

Salesianum beat St. Georges 47-9 in a Class 3 contest. Quarterback Brady McBride threw 5 touchdown passes for the Sals, 2 to Jaysir Gaymon, in the victory. The Sals are 4-2. The Hawks are now 2-3

Indian River beat Seaford 46-7. Jayvion Chandler rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns and caught 3 passes for 56 yards and another touchdown. The Indians are 4-1. Seaford falls to 2-3 both in 1A2

Polytech 34, Christiana 8

Polytech beat Christiana 34-8. Aven Diamond scored three touchdowns, one on a blocked punt return, for the Panthers. They are 3-2 while handing the Vikings their first loss of the year.

Howard and Wilmington Friends faced each other in a District matchup. Both teams end up 2-3 overall as the Wildcats downed the Quakers 48-14. Amir Maddrey scored three rushing touchdowns for Howard.

After dropping the first match of the season, Appoquimink has reeled off 6 straight wins including this straight set victory over Archmere. Jaslyn Dawkins had 17 kills for the Jaguars, Gianna Folke had 11. Brooke Parkinson had 25 assists and Libero Aimee Abad had 21 digs.
