Josie Hollamon from Delmar has committed to play field hockey for the U of Maryland.

In the Wildcats 8-0 win over Wilmington Friends yesterday she scored three goals. Her sister Jordyn also scored three times. Peri Mulveny had 28 saves for the Quakers. The Wildcats have outscored their opponents 25-0 so far, in just three games.







Sophomore Morgan Leeper scored 4 times as the Seahawks of Sussex Academy roll over Sussex Central 9-0. Elise Westbrook added two goals and Shelby Manlove scored one and assisted on two others.





Sophomore Hannah Zimmerman raised her stick 4 times. The Buccaneers of Milford beat Seaford 11-0.





Audrey Nelson records a hat trick and Hailey Gray scored two times in the Newark Charter Patriots 5-0 win over Conrad.





Sr. Bella Dell'Oso scored 6 goals and had an assist as the Archmere Auks beat Sanford 10-0. She is headed to play field hockey for Temple next year.








Salesianum's Chase Black has committed to play lacrosse for Queens College. He is also a member of the Brotherly Love Lacrosse program out of Philadelphia.





Boy's Soccer


Kasey Bell scored three goals and Lewis Briggs two as Delmarva Christian beats Holly Grove Christian from Maryland 6-0

Klein Gyamfi had 4 goals and an assist. Michael Prall had three assists. The Cavaliers of Middletown beat Newark 6-0.



Thaddeus Glasser scored three goals and assisted on the other Rider goal in Caesar Rodney's 4-0 win over Woodbridge.






Volleyball



So. Elaina Millaway had 22 kills and her Sr. sister Ellie had 20 as Delmarva Christian played a tense 4 game match with Caesar Rodney and won 3 sets to 1. Maggie and Tessa Kwiatkowski combined for 52 assists in the match. Rachel Fetterman had 51 digs for the Royal defense.




Anna Richardson had 17 kills to lead the Eagles of Smyrna over Sussex Academy 3-0.


Sr. Julia Yurkovich had 22 kills as St. Marks beats Wilmington Friends in three sets. Freshman setter Madalyn Way had 32 assists for the Spartans. She is now committed to play volleyball for Presbyterian College in South Carolina.
