Maurki James from Cape Henlopen has committed to attend Old Dominion University in Virginia where he will join the football team. Maurki is one of the Vikings Captains this year.




The Sanford School named their Warriors of the Week. Tanner Murray earned honors for his work with the Boy's Soccer team. Angelina Aubain is the honoree for her play on the Field Hockey team.



Dover's Savannah Strauss reached a milestone as the goalie for the Senators Field Hockey team. She recently saved the 300th shot of her career.

In the rematch of the D1 Field Hockey Championship from 2022, the Smyrna Eagles, who won that game. beat the Cape Henlopen Vikings 2-1. Smyrna's Dru Moffett scored the eventual game-winner on a penalty stroke in the 4th quarter. The Vikings outshot the Eagles 19-8 but Halle Geiger had 14 saves in goal for Smyrna.

Jason Hughes scored 4 touchdowns for Wilmington Friends as the Quakers improve to 2-0 with a convincing win over Dickinson. He caught three touchdowns from Robby Tattersall and rushed for another.








Boy's Soccer



Thompson Burke scored a hat trick and assisted on another goal as the Milford Buccaneers beat Sussex Tech 6-2. The Bucs are 3-0 to start the season.

Wilmington Christian beat St. Andrews 3 sets to 1. For Wilmington Christian, Maria Cocco-Lambie had 29 kills to lead all hitters.

Smyrna stays unbeaten knocking off Cape Henlopen 3-0 Anna Richardson led the Eagles with 18 kills.
