Sussex Academy's Shelby Manlove has committed to attend the University of Richmond in Virginia. The Junior Seahawk will play Lacrosse for the Spiders.





Padua Senior Jules Balon has committed to attend Harvard where she will add her special abilities to the Crimson Track and Field Team.




MOT Charter's Gwenna Foulk was named the Mustang's Female Athlete of the Week for her efforts with the Cross Country team.





John Reiling, the Mustangs goalie for the soccer team, was named the MOT Mustang Male Athlete of the Week.








Field Hockey


Four more goals for Jordyn Hollamon pushes her season total to 21 as Delmar beats Sussex Academy 9-0. The Wildcats outshot the Seahawks 35-1 to stay unbeaten.

Sophomore Bree Moffett scored 4 goals and her older sister Dru scored twice and assisted on two others as the Smyrna Eagles stay undefeated beating Caesar Rodney 9-0.









Macy Blades scored twice and had three assists. Baylie Williamson scored a hat trick and assisted on another goal as Indian River beat Conrad 10-0. The Indians are 3-1 with Delmar handing them their only loss so far.

Boy's Soccer








Volleyball



The match of the day was between Caesar Rodney and Smyrna with the Eagles needing to come from down 2 sets to 0 to win in 5. Three Riders were in double digits for kills with Melissa Eddy leading her team with 18. The Rider setters, Alyssa Diem and Allison Hemberger combined for 51 assists. But Anna Richardson had 23 kills and Eliza Schneider 16 to pull out the win. Abigayle Osborne had 41 assists for Smyrna.

St. Marks improved to 5-0 with a 3-1 win over their rivals from Padua Academy. Setter Maddie Way had 43 assists for the Spartans. Libero Taylor Holly, recently named as one of the top 20 Liberos in the country in one poll, had 37 digs.
