Field Hockey

Conrad beat Newark 6-0 on Monday. Ava Munden scored 4 goals and assisted on one other for the Red Wolves who even their record at 2-2.

St. Marks shutout Padua 4-0. Katie Hanich scored a hat trick for the Spartans. They are 4-2.

Smyrna beat Delmar 3-1. Jordyn Hollamon scored early for the Wildcats but the Eagles came back after the defense locked down the game for the balance of it. Sophomore Cara Nacrelli scored two goals, including the eventual game-winner, and Addison Beamer the other for Smyrna. They are 4-2 for the year handing the Wildcats their first loss and they are 6-1.

Sussex Academy beat Polytech 12-0. Ryan Lowe scored 3 goals and had two assists for the 5-1 Seahawks. Lente Werner also scored 3 times.

Newark Charter beat Middletown in a game of unbeaten teams 7-0. The Patriots improve to 7-0 and are the lone undefeated team in D2. Amanda Rattay scored 3 goals and had 2 assists in the win. Audrey Nelson added a pair.

Tower Hill handed Caravel their first loss of the season. Sydney Fischer had 18 kills for the Hillers with Parker Lewicky handing out 32 assists. The Hillers are now 4-1 and Caravel is 5-1.

St. Marks came from down 2 sets to nothing to beat Ursuline in 5 sets. The Raiders drop their first match of the year to fall to 6-1. The Spartans are now 5-1. CC DeCaro led the Raiders with 18 kills. No stats posted for St. Marks at this writing.
