Claudia Koch from Archmere has committed to attend George Washington University in Maryland. She will join the Lacrosse program.









Jacob Garrity from Salesianum has committed to attend the University of Delaware where he will play Lacrosse.









Junior Bree Moffett from Smyrna has committed to attend Northwestern University. She will join the Field Hockey team.









At the Six Flags Wild Safari XC Invitational Newark Charter's Timmie Claessens set a new school record running 15:45. The previous record was 15:56 set by Bryan Delle Donne in 2017.








The St. Marks Boys Cross Country team shattered the school record for the fastest team average by 12 seconds today in winning the Six Flags Wild Safari Invite. Alec Jurgaitis (16:17), Brian Yeager (16:36), Connor Wrinn (16:36), Abner Murillo (16:41), Evan Paskevicius (16:44) Patrick Hogate (17:19) and Michael WItkowski (18:10) averaged 16:35 for the top 5, which broke the record of 16:47 set in 2007.





Field Hockey



Wilmington Christian beat Delmarva Christian 5-0. Sophomore Adriana Givler scored a hat trick for the Warriors. They are 4-3 for the year. The Royals are 2-6.

Delmar improves to 8-1 with a 6-1 win over Pocomoke HS from Maryland. Jordyn Hollamon scored three goals and assisted on two others for the Wildcats.

Football




Tatnall remains unbeaten in 1A1 and is 4-0 as they beat Dickinson 48-0. Gino Greer rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown and caught one touchdown pass for the Hornets.

Delmar is 4-1 in 2A3 as they beat Indian River 55-29. Khalid Schoolfield scored three touchdowns including an 85-yard kick return for the Wildcats. The Indians are now 3-1.

The Quakers of Wilmington Friends even their record at 2-2. They beat Brandywine 40-0. Cooper Strauss caught 5 passes from Ryan Tattersall and scored two touchdowns.

Sussex Central beat Woodbridge 31-14. Malik Bell had 151 rushing yards and for two touchdowns and caught one other TD pass. The Golden Knights are 4-0 in 3A2. The Blue Raiders are 3-1 in 2A3

Salesianum scored 49 first-half point en route to a 56-0 win over Dover to improve to 3-1. Aiden Lego scored three rushing touchdowns for the Sals.



















Volleyball




Appoquinimink handed Middletown their first match loss of the season in 4 sets. The Jaguars are now 4-1. Jaslyn Dawkins led the Jags with 13 kills. Gianna Folke had 11 and Brooke Parkinson had 25 assists.

Delmarva Christian swept Wilmington Christian in straight set. Senior Elaina Millaway led the Royals with 20 kills.
